On June 16th the Camp of Champions (COC) will open the largest terrain park in the world.  Steve Petrie of Arena Snowparks and the park crew at Whistler Blackcomb are busy pushing mountains of snow to build a state of the art park.  “Now that the pipe is in place we will begin building other features including the progressive jump lines, rail platforms, hips, quarters, and the big jump line. The first ever “Gromfest event www.gromfest.org is premiering at camp this summer.  Each week a competition will be held and the winner will take home a custom Burton snowboard by artist Angel Villalobos www.onesevennine.com.  Winners from each session will receive a bid to the GromFest finals in Whistler late 2007.  Best of all Chris Dufficy will be sharing the fun with you!  We will have on location film crews and Misschief Films will be in Whistler putting the finishing touches on RO SHAM BO their latest flick.  Come improve your skills, meet new friends, and take your snowboarding to the next level.  If you haven’t signed up with the Camp of Champions this summer, the registration deadline is July 12.  The last session is July 13-20, don’t miss out!
