Klug and his team of world-class snowboarders will conduct the camp March 21-23 on Buttermilk – home of the ESPN Winter X Games!       

Aspen/Snowmass Village, Colo. – Chris Klug will host his third annual snowboarding camp March 21-23 on Buttermilk in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado.  Buttermilk hosted the 2002 and 2003 ESPN Winter X Games and is home to the longest terrain park in the United States.

Klug will be joined by an all-star team of coaches including X Games Superpipe champion Gretchen Bleiler, who will be the head pipe coach, Aspen local and U.S. Team member Zach Horowitz, three-time U.S. Open Champ Ian Price and X-Games Ultracross winner and Snowmass local Travis McLain. Snowboarding legend Kris Karol will also be back this spring to provide instruction as well as other guest pros.

 “I’m really looking forward to the camp this spring,” said Klug. “It’s gotten bigger and better every year we’ve done it, and we’ve got an awesome crew of coaches back this year. It’s going to be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to improve your riding in all disciplines of snowboarding.”

The camp will offer instruction in pipe, rails, terrain and park riding, racing and free-riding at one of the best facilities in the world. In addition, they’ll have the Burton Demo team on hand to allow participants to test Burton’s latest gear. The camp is open to all levels of snowboarders who want to take the next step in their overall riding ability or experience the excitement of racing. Limited to 100 participants, the three-day camp will include on-snow freeride, halfpipe, slopestyle, big air and race training; video analysis; Burton demos; barbecue; DJ and awards.
