COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 29 — Resource Marketing, Inc., a technology marketing and communications company, has recently been honored with the top awards in three of the advertising and marketing industry’s most prestigious competitions: The Clio Awards, the Ad:Tech Awards, and the National ADDY Awards.

All three awards were presented to resource for the design and development of the Burton Snowboards Web site (www.burton.com), making Burton one of the most award-winning sites on the Internet.

The Clio Awards Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious international competitions, this year held the first exclusively interactive Clio competition, attracting worldwide entries. Resource and burton.com earned a silver Clio statue, the highest honor, for Web site brand building.

Resource and burton.com were also awarded Best in Category at the Ad:Tech awards being presented with the Gold in the Best Overall Creative Design category. The Ad:tech awards recognize excellence in Internet marketing.

Additionally, the Burton site was honored with a national ADDY award, long recognized as one of the most prestigious honors in the advertising industry sponsored by the American Advertising Federation.

“We are thrilled with the recognition burton.com has received and the success of the site in generating sales,” said Nancy Kramer, resource president and CEO. “These honors demonstrate that you can build a client’s brand while creating demand for their products.”

David Schriber, Burton’s Vice President of Marketing, noted that resource’s understanding of the company’s end goal was the driving force behind the site’s widespread appeal. “Resource used their creative ingenuity to develop a site which connected riders to each other, to timely information about the sport of snowboarding, and to the products we sell.”
