Burlington, Vermont—With natural disasters leaving millions homeless this fall, Burton will be raising funds for Habitat for Humanity to help victims of the hurricanes in North America as well as the earthquakes in Pakistan. And because Burton is a dog-friendly workplace and has a special place in its heart for furry friends, it will also donate funds to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to help animal victims of the hurricanes in North America.

To raise the funds, Burton will donate 100% of all proceeds on Saturday, November 12th at its global flagship stores in Burlington, Vermont; Innsbruck, Austria; New York City and Tokyo to Habitat for Humanity and the ASPCA.

“There are some people and animals in this world who have experienced the worst luck imaginable over the last few months,” says Jake Burton, Chairman and Founder of Burton Snowboards. “Donating a Saturday’s gross proceeds from all of our retail operations will hopefully raise some sorely needed cash and help remind us all that there are people and critters out there in some very challenging situations.”

So if you’ve been eyeing a new jacket or snowboard for the upcoming season, pick it up from a Burton flagship store on November 12th and you’ll make a big difference in the lives of natural disaster victims.

Stay tuned for more details on Burton’s disaster relief efforts.
