Burlington, VT (December 5, 2007) — The 2008 Burton Demo Tour features over 200 stops where riders can test ride the latest Burton gear for FREE at their favorite local resort. The Tour also includes 10 Super Stops— 10 weekend-long events with a dedicated sponsor village and after-parties for local riders.

New this year, the Demo Tour will host Learn To Ride (LTR) events and AM Series competitions at select stops. The AM Series gives amateur riders an opportunity to qualify for the US Open Snowboarding Championships, held March 17-23, 2008 at Stratton, Vermont. The LTR component will allow people that have never been snowboarding the opportunity to Learn to Ride for FREE at select stops.

Every stop on the Demo Tour will give riders of all ages the opportunity to try the latest Burton gear at no cost. The hottest Burton boards, boots and bindings for men, women, girls and boys will be available to demo. Riders must be 18 or older —OR— have a parent or guardian present with credit card and ID to demo gear.

The Super Stops, scheduled throughout the season at 10 select resorts across the U.S., are sponsored by Volvo, Paul Mitchell, Emergen-C, GORE-TEX®, Snowboarder, R.E.D. and ANON. A dedicated Super Stop sponsor village will have a huge array of new products for riders to try out and win free gear, including:
