Irvine, CA—Billabong Girls announces the signing of 16-year old, South Lake Tahoe rising star Jamie Anderson. This Winter X Games marked her first appearance in slopestyle (finishing 3rd) and superpipe (finishing16th) exhibiting just a hint of the talent we can expect to unleash from this young rider.

Jamie has ridden boardercross, slopestyle, giant slalom, slalom, and halfpipe since age 9. Her first competition at 13, Jamie held the distinction of being the youngest competitor ever at the Winter X 04.

2006 has proved to be an explosive year for Jamie. She recently competed to win the women’s slopestyle and received the “Most Inspired rider award (taking home a Harley Davidson motorcycle) at the Burton Abominable Snow Jam in Mt Hood.  Jamie is in her sixth season as a viable competitor and first of many with the Billabong snow team.
