Enhancements include Terrain Park, groomers, dining, arcade and point of sales system
Terrain Park – After several years of being absent the resort will be bringing back the terrain park. The park will have four to six rails and a jump section built with the help of Mother Nature and our new snow cats. The park will have two lines of features, one line for beginners and one line for more advanced skiers and riders. The entrance to the Park will be located on Lower Sweetwater. Skiers and Riders can expect to have terrain park features available on opening day.
Snow Groomers – The resort is investing in two Prinoth Bison X grooming cats. The Prinoth Bison X cats are designed to build terrain park features due to the extreme articulation of the dozer and tiller implements; with the return of the Terrain Park these cats will be able to effectively sculpt terrain features. Along with the new groomers, new winch anchor points have been installed on Lost Groomer, Chief Joseph Bowl and Sitting Bull Ridge. The addition to the grooming fleet combined with the new winch cat anchor points will provide opportunities for more groomed runs on a daily basis.
Snorkels Coffee House & Bistro – Expanding on its popularity and increasing the number of evening dining options available at the resort, Snorkels Coffee House & Bistro will be open on weekends & holidays for dinner service and will continue with their traditional morning and afternoon offerings resort guests have come to expect. The new night time bistro menu offerings will include pizzas & pastas.
Arcade – Centrally located in the Resort Plaza, the Arcade will feature multiple video games and attractions as well as a big screen television. This will be a great place for kids only or for family fun. Birthday and Special Event Packages will be available through the resort’s sales department.
Siriusware Point of Sales System – In September and October the resort will be upgrading its POS system. The new POS will be fully integrated with the lodging software and help improve the overall guest experience. The resort will be implementing resort-wide charge for lodging guests as well as ticket and pass scanning for all skiers and riders this winter. During actual system upgrade, 2011/2012 Winter season passes will not be printed. All previously printed 2011/2012 Winter season passes will be re-issued prior to opening day.
