Newport Beach, Calif., June 26, 2007 — Nominees for the 2007 ESPY awards co —presented by HUMMER and Under Armour were recently announced and two Sports Syndicate athletes have been recognized for their exceptional year in snowboarding. Slopestyle champion, Andreas Wiig has been nominated in the Best Male Action Sports Athlete category along with 16-year-old Jamie Anderson for the Best Female Action Sports Athlete.

In the Best Male Action Sports category, Andres Wiig of Norway who took home the Gold medal at the Winter X Games in Slopestyle and Best Trick as well as winning the Vans Cup in Slopestyle. It is a great honor to be nominated alongside some of the action sports athletes including Kelly Slater, Danny Way, Travis Pastrana, and Ricky Carmichael.

Jamie Anderson, who blew the judges away winning Winter X in Slopestyle and took home 2nd Place at the Vans Cup and Vail Session has been nominated along with Layne Beachley, Torah Bright, Sarah Burke and Elissa Steamer.

The world’s biggest stars in sports and entertainment will take the stage for the 15th annual celebration to be televised, Sunday, July 15 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
