Alpine Meadows Ski Resort has begun its official spring 2005 hours of operation.  Daily skiing and snowboarding will be offered from 8am until 1pm throughout the month of May.

Spring prices are also in effect! Alpine Meadows adult lift tickets are now just $29 every day (regularly $39 throughout winter months). Springskiing and riding diehards also have the option of purchasing a $99 spring lift pass, valid every day with no restrictions until the end of the 2005 season.

Summit Six Chair will offer Tahoe’s best top-to-bottom spring terrain on more than 1500 acres of hike-to bowls, shoots, mogul runs, and continuous groomed runs of more than 1800 vertical feet!  With more than 15 feet of snow at the mid-mountain snow stake, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort snow conditions look to remain world-renown until season’s end(May 30).

Kangaroo Chair will offer access to Tahoe’s best terrain park. Literally steps from the base lodge and offering rails, boxes, and jumps for ability levels ranging from beginner to pro, Alpine’s park is spring’s best option for feature-craving skiers and snowboarders. In addition, look for upper-mountain features starting the second week of May.

Upcoming events like the Mad Cow Downhill on May 7, Annual Snow Golf Tournament on May 14, and scheduled weekly Saturday live music add to the festive springtime atmosphere at Alpine Meadows.  For information on snow conditions, events, and spring lift ticket rates, visit Alpine Meadows at www.skialpine.com.
