San Clemente, California—Allyance, an innovative designer and marketer of premium quality sports and lifestyle apparel, gear, and entertainment has added urban rail rider and backcountry booter specialist, Asa Martinez as well as X-Games boardercross competitor Jonathan Cheever to their ever-growing team.
The team already boasts a group of young, progressive, extremely talented pro and amateur boarders. Along for the ride again this year are Allyance veterans Ivan Marcinko, Justin Rister, Brian O’leary and Stephen Laterra.
Blowin’ up the scene in the Pacific Northwest is up and coming rider, Ivan Marcinko. Marcinko, who has been killing it at railjams all season, is definitely someone who poses a veritable threat to the scene, so keep on the look out for Ivan.
20 year old, Justin Rister has also been making some noise out in the Pacific Northwest. With upcoming events including the U.S. Open, he’s riding full barrel and proving himself every chance he gets.
Brian O’leary, a SoCal native adds some serious flavor to the team. You can find him rippin it up in the parks at Bear Mountain and Mt.High everyday of the week.
Rounding out the veteran team is Stephen Laterra. With years of experience under his belt, Stephen is now Vail Mountain’s terrain park designer and still kills it in the park daily.
Newcomers Asa and Jonathan up the team’s game considerably. Jonathan is an exceptionally well-rounded and consistent rider who stands out in boardercross as well as in the halfpipe. With a strong appearance at the x-games he’s definitely launching himself towards the ranks of other top riders. Asa’s ability to rock everything from the deepest powder to the sickest rails will blow your mind in upcoming videos.
