Need to go snowboarding? More than 40 ski resorts from New England to California will be open this weekend. From the tiny Woodbury hill in Connecticut to Afton Alps in Minnesota to Great Divide in Montana, if you want to ride there’s probably a resort open within striking distance. Fourteen different States will have resorts ready for your business.

Colorado leads the pack with eleven resorts opened this weekend. Live on the East Coast? Try New York or Vermont for snow. And are you in the Midwest? Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota all have options. About the only area that’s behind the curve is the Pacific Northwest, where resorts are planning on opening within three weeks. But you could always drive to Tahoe or Montana for some white stuff, if you really need it.

Here’s a look at which resorts plan on being open this weekend.
