The 2006/2007 Tour is without question the largest culmination of independent Freestyle events acting under one common Tour Flag. Officially recognized as the ‘Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour,’ or simply ‘The TTR,’ this culmination of Independent Freestyle Snowboard events has witnessed dynamic growth over the last four years, revitalizing competitive snowboarding while firmly establishing its credibility as a globally recognized Tour. Now in its 5th year, the TTR boasts an impressive 10-month competition season including top rated snowboarding events over four geographical zones. This years tour, launched at the TTR 4(four) Star, Abominable Snowjam in My Hood(7-11th July, 2006), will involve an expanded Southern Hemisphere leg before heading back into the Northern Hemisphere’s winter.

While the majority of the snowboarding community has been enjoying summer, the TTR World Snowboard Tour has exploded to life little more than two months after the 05/06 TTR Tour was wrapped. The expanded 06/07 season has arrived, promising no less than ten months of competitive snowboarding at premium locations across the globe. The opening weekend has come and gone, and with it a $150,000 USD prize purse of cash and prizes including two Ski-doo snowmobiles, two Harley Davidson’s, a Volvo C70 and two available TTR results awarded.
