Nikita Chickita Jam (Mammoth-Feb. 21) (Serfaus, Austria-April 18)

About the event:
It’s not enough to only have this slopestyle event once a year, so there’s going to be two, one in Austria and one in Mammoth. This event is an open-invitational contest, known for its mellow and fun atmosphere. There will be plenty of cash for the Pro class and heaps of prizes for the Ams. The top Am rider will win a one year contract with Nikita. Ana Rumiah won last year’s Chickita in Europe and Alice Gong won the Mammoth event, and both have been with Nikita since.

Summary of what went down last year.
For the Pro class Izzy Lalive took down the top spot with a backside 540 into a cab three. Vera Janssen took home 2nd, and Nikita’s own Jordie Karlinski held down for a third place finish.
Local Mammoth rider Alice Gong finished on top for the Amateur class.  Indigo Monk and Femke Henriques rounded out the podium with 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
