Been wondering what to get your snowboarder for the holidays this year? Helping them hit the slopes with their board gets easier this fall. In August, Highland Trading Co. Inc. is introducing it’s much requested Sportube snowboard case.

The new case is modeled after the company’spopular single and double Sportubes for skis. Paul Hields, president of Highland Trading, said, “We were overwhelmed with requests for a case that would offer the same protection to snowboards that our original Sportubes offered to skis. Snowboarders kept calling us with horror stories of how their boards were damaged while traveling.”

The protective hard case for boards, bindings, and boots is manufactured from high density polyethylene which keeps the case light while remaining strong and durable.

All Sportube models have built-in wheels for easy maneuvering through crowded airports and hotels. Since some airlines will no longer take responsibility for damage to equipment packed in soft bags, snowboarders were often faced with the dilemma of risking their equipment or using a shipping company to send it to the resort. All airlines accept the Sportube cases as checked luggage.

The snowboard case is reasonably priced at $139.95 and is available at most major sporting goods stores and through catalogs. A complete listing of local dealers is available at www.sportube.com or by calling1-800-814-1311.
