Rage, the freestyle division of the SnowPro binding company, is introducing their freestyle bindings including the Peak, Rider, Proflex, Reflex and Kid. All of the models are lighter weight than in the past and offer greater adjustability. The Peak and Proflex will come with a newly designed asymmetrical rotator disc which enables adjustment in stance as well as angle. All bindings come standard with safety buckles, leashes and stomp pads. The Peak, Rider, Proflex and Reflex are all 4X4 and 3D compatible.
The Peak is the most adjustable binding in the line. Its highback is adjustable in rotation and forward lean and comes with a quick release forward lean adjuster, eliminating the need for tools. The ankle and toe straps are padded and come with quick release clips as well as an optional pump clip for the toestrap. The Peak has a CAD constructed baseplate with integrated dampening elements and low sidewalls.
The Rider is an all around 3 strap binding for performance carving in a soft boot. It comes stock with padded straps; an additional pump clip for the toestrap; quick release clips; and a quick adjust release lever on the forward lean.
The Proflex’s CAD constructed baseplate offers extremely high torsional strength which provides precise steering. The integrated dampening elements allow controlled landings after jumps, and it has a low shaped sidewall. The Proflex also has safety buckles, soft padded ankle and toe straps, and a quick release clip on the highback for on the hill adjustments without tools.
The Reflex is an entry level binding which is strong but value oriented and is Rage’s best selling model. The highback is adjustable in forward lean; it has safety buckles; a padded ankle strap; and is 4 X4 and 3D compatible.
The Kid binding is similar in shape and function to the adult bindings but has been adapted for boot sizes from 18.5 to 25.5. It has a 4X4 hole pattern and is best suited for riders up to 99 pounds.
