Everything You Need To Know about GoPro’s New Fusion 360 Camera

You no longer need six GoPros on a special mount to capture high quality 360 footage with the announcement of the dual lens GoPro Fusion 360 camera. The dual lens system shoots up to 5.2K video at 30 frames per second, 60fps at 3K, can produce 18-megapixel spherical photos, and is still waterproof over fifteen feet in depth.

Available on shelves in November for $699, the camera is sure create buzz until its official release later this year, boasting voice control and a seamless stitching software. Along with the spherical content abilities, the Fusion 360 Camera is still designed to fit most GoPro mounts can capture 360-degree sound. It is equipped with GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as stabilizers in camera to produce a gimbal-like result.

"OverCapture" was another major talking point with GoPro CEO Nick Woodman as he unveiled the camera to the world. It is a term that refers to the different ways that users can process and manipulate the footage they capture with the Fusion 360. Instead of just shooting in 360 degrees and posting in 360 degrees, the “OverCapture” idea allows users to process the plethora of visual info into more traditional, 1080p videos, along with punching out photos from any angle. Woodman was even quoted saying you “shouldn't have to point” anymore.
