Lake Tahoe Calif./Nev.- 2K2 Sick Day, the first release from pioneering snowboarding and action sports producers First Tracks Productions, was released for sale September 28, 2002.
Sick Day showcases where snowboarding is and where it’s going. The video gives viewers more of what they want to see, including first person footage, which brings the viewer into the action, and real-time video, displaying riding in its truest form.
Pro riders Ryan Paris, Andreas Wiig, Tom Gilles, Jussi Oksanen and Shaun White, and competition footage from Triple Crown, Boarding for Breast Cancer and the North American Freeride championships supplement footage of up-and-coming amateurs Joe Becker, Scott Bowen and Marek Cholinski. Sick Day features a tight indie soundtrack and terrain from the park to the backcountry.
“We’re really stoked with how everything has worked out,” said First Tracks owner Anthony Cupaiuolo. “We had fun filming for Sick Day and despite a lot of late nights this past summer, a great time putting it together too. We’re already looking forward to this season.”
