A-Frame is cool but definately been done way too many times before. I think people have already built and sessioned the shit out of that shape of obstacle. I got mad love for the buttery spine cause its a good creative mix of features and has enough combo opportunities to stay fresh and i think that's definately what the winner has to have.

they actually did ask for a feature that could be used in a contest….
as for realistic, they're all realistic….all can be assembled either on hill or elsewhere. when they said they wanted something moveable they were saying they didn't want a feature that is 100ft by 100ft.

The A-Frame isn't anything new and that bowl this looks stupid. Good luck getting out of the bowl when you fall in it. Even if the bowl part was small enough where you could grab the coping, then it would be too small to do anything cool on. I'm thinking the majority of people that said the bowl should win is actually just one person who keeps commenting. I'm also thinking that A-frame is getting so much positive review just because it looks good. That guy made the picture look so good that your automatically inclined to think it's dope, but that shape has been used so much.

A-frames actually got a lot goin on- mad lines, different levels, logs to tap, slide-definitely much more than a wall ride. That would be sick at bear. Nice work bro

i would say like the spaceship..probably has the most potential.i was lookin at the others too see what would work best. i mean the lexan qp would be hard. but they could make it work out, to make it more rideable im sure. it makes the most sense also…you have never seen somethin like it…you can hit that jump in the front or shred the qp coping..or go off the jump in front and land on the qp to the left or right. it looks like a good time.
as for the bowl…just is dumb…i mean it may be fun for one minute..but i duno.
and for the skim pond..why would you want that?haha

I agree with a lot of people, so much has been done before, I was hoping to see something completely new and different. Something more original. One thing is one park may have a feature on one mountain, but a lot of people don't ride there so maybe they personally have never seen anything like it and think it's original…
After seeing the video of the teeter from the dude who built it, it makes it seem cooler then it looks in the sketches, so I'm going with that. And he actually put in the effort to build a working model which is pretty sweet. Why would I want to ride a street feature on a resort hill? If i wanted to ride that I would go to my local spot. Not sure why everyone says the a-frame is unoriginal. Yes I’ve ridden shitloads of wall rides but definitely none like that. It looks like those two guys were hiking the backcountry and found some abandoned cabin. Sick design man.

i think you should double check what i wrote son. The a-frame is an entire package, you cant just say, "oh, the A frame (wallride with a back) would be cool. Imma vote that design." you have to look at the entire feature and vote on THAT. The a-frame is very much a street feature in the fact that it has multiple parts that could be found on the street. How that's linked to a cabin I have no clue. If he means that the A frame is like a cabin, sure i guess. I don't think that design was descriptive enough for many to completely understand the actual look of the feature. And all of these features are un-original in their own way, but like i said before, people came to vote on this contest with the hopes of seeing something completely new, which is rare.

i also sent in a dome and a half bowl, but way before even the spaceship got postet…
but anyways… its not about stealing ideas, its about who has the sickest… i mean almost everybody got inspired by some existing feature, so if the spaceship inspires you for something sick, why not?

ever ridden a c-box? its pretty much the same…
and all those designs here are not meant to be done by noobs, cause noobs should stick to flat boxes etc… im pretty sure, good riders will be able to kill it on the aidsbox

btw the aframe next to the stairs doesnt make any sense… it would either be flat-down-vertically down, or part in snow-flat-down
