The Big O was built in 1976 and it has been a landmark in the Montreal skateboarding scene pretty much ever since but, in the fall of 2011 the pipe would change like never other before. The Big O was dug out, picked up, and moved. WHY? A soccer stadium has plans to expand and well the Big-O was right in the way. Sparing no expense the owners of the land moved the pipe about 50\' feet so it can continue its life in Montreal. With all the re-landscaping around the O, a ledge on top of the pipe was exposed. Even after 36 years, the Big O has something fresh to offer.
