TECHNINE
TEAM: Jonah Owen, Dylan Thompson, Andrew Brewer, Derek Dennison
PHOTOGRAPHY: Andy Wright
FILMMAKERS: Cole Taylor and Jeremy Miller
SHOT AT: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Technine took to the streets with a battered crew. The wrinkled, graffiti-strewn urban environment of Montreal consumed them as they gunned down spots. In their search they aimed to document the “daily grind” of the Technine team doing what they do best. No big builds, no snowmobiles, no mountains or hills—just real riding in the streets.

YES
TEAM: JP Solberg, Romain De Marchi, Benji Ritchie, Helen Schettini, and Mikee Pederson
PHOTOGRAPHY: Ashley Barker
FILMMAKERS: Paul Watt and Brian Hockenstein
SHOT AT: Whistler backcountry, BC, Canada
The Yes crew went deep. They scouted a new area in the already bombarded Whistler backcountry spending three days breaking trail just accessing it. They camped, cut trees, waited out storms, heli’d, and got gnarly. The mission was an effort to catch the essence of snowboarding in a natural state and express a rider’s individual bond with the mountain.

RIDE
TEAM: Alex Cantin, Austin Hironaka, Darrell Mathes, Sebastien Toutant
PHOTOGRAPHY: Frode Sandbech
FILMMAKERS: Gary Milton and Tommy Little
SHOT AT: Summit at Snoqualmie, Washington
Ride hung in the mist and snow-choked trees of the Northwest. Rain or shine the mob shredded wooded jumps, jibs, lodge-sized senders, a road gap, and more. Fog, snain, rain, clouds, and sunshine swept across their camera lenses as the team seized the oscillating environment and laid-back vibe of their surroundings.

CAPITA
TEAM: Cale Zima | Dan Brisse | Laura Hadar | Phil Jacques | Scott Stevens
PHOTOGRAPHY: Bob Plumb
FILMMAKERS: Mark Dangler and Matt Roberge
SHOT AT: Stevens Pass, Washington
The Capita crew all piled into a musty ski patrol cabin at the base of Stevens. Camaraderie and boot stank reached excessive levels. The nighttime sessions were heavy, and the team took down beasty closeout rails, rail-to-cliff combos, and trannies tucked in trees. Capturing the sessions and synergies that fuel snowboarding was their drive.
