Summer is officially here! Session 1 at High Cascade Snowboard Camp kicked off on June 15th and the summer boarding season is in full effect at Mt. Hood. Signature sessioners Andreas Wiig, Darrell Mathes and Tara Dakides have been wingin’ dodgeballs, throwin double back flips, and boosting out of the eighteen-foot Superpipe.

An all-girls skate went down at the mini bowl and ramp section once already this session and the girls are rampin up for the next one. Camper Charlotte Rhodes was seen stabbing smith 270s and pivot to fakies at the girls skate session. On-hill, signature sessioner Tara Dakides led all the babes on an all-girls clinic on the boxes and picnic tables. Nose and tailpresses, boardslides, frontboards and even some 270s—Tara was demonstrating all the sweet moves. Coaches Terri Mayrer, Leslie Glenn, and counselors Sandra Hillen, Caroline Onzik, and Hannah Fuller all joined in the session and upped the ante.
The Roxy Tye-Dye party went down and Taylor Anne Smith won the Pom Pom Art Contest. IGott go—it’s Dodgeball time. Campers watch yourselves, the all-staff Headhunters dodgeball team is bringing the heat!
