well shredimusmaximus: he only boosted aids and pregnancy through the roof in third world countries because he passed laws requiring sex ed. to consist of abstinence. banned stem cell research which could save thousands of people. Instead of adopting a new energy policy, he got us into the middle of a stupid war. He denies evolution is real, he denies climate change is real, and made zero progress in that. Republicans believe in smaller gov, and less spending, but he still managed to put us deep into debt. His gave tax beaks to the richest 1% of Americans. He let large corporations run the country even though most of them are corrupt, support child labor, and have extremely limited environmental regulations. His biggest concern was that gay people can’t get married cuz he is an evangelical Christian, which is such a joke when there are so many other more important issues to worry about. (Thats all stuff right off the top of my head.) It is not the “our” fault the economy sucks

well Obama: lets think…Bush quadrupled the relief $ we send to africa - which equals help in fighting aids/pregnancy (at last count we send 4 billion there a year)…I have no idea what you’re talking about with stem cell research - only adult stem cells have been proven to aid people in any way and he actually increased funding for that (he tried to cut embryonic research because after thousands of tests nothing came of it)…if the war is stupid then you suggest another way for us to protect our country (also, you do understand that Congress approved the war with STRONG bipartisan support - that means Democrats also approved the war effort)…and while you are correct in asserting Republicans want a smaller government and less spending, you surely know that before Bush took office we were already 3 trillion dollars in debt, AND a lot of the spending came from the then Democratically controlled house and senate, who proposed many of the bills for the country…he gave tax cuts to the wealthy so they have extra disposable income - much of which would be returned to the economy and provide jobs for many people by the spending of their money…he in no way let large corporations run the country, i’m actually not really sure how they could (maybe you could explain that to me)…and bush didn’t really do anything concerning gay marriage - he said that marriage is an institution between a man and a woman (which it has been since the beginning of religions) BUT he did say he would leave it open to states to grant same sex civil unions and entitling gays to the same benefits as a married couple…
and you’re right, it’s not our fault the economy sucks - but you’re not doing anything to make it better by just bitching about it - how bout you become president and make it all better with a snap of your fingers…it’s just not that easy…

If ur daddy makes a lot of money, then he’s going to get tutors for u, and send u to college guaranteed, so u can make a lot of money also. Many people aren’t this fortunate. It only makes sense to tax people more who are making more money. Im not saying tax them so everyone is even (socialism,) but if u are making 5 mil a year then u should have to pay a significant amount compared to someone who makes 30,000.
