June 2nd, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Jp you are living the dream; traveling the world snowboarding, pro models, and on top of all that getting paid to do it all, is it all fame and glory? what else can you say about your life beyond snowboarding?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Is Big L you’re favorite rapper? Who do you want to win the NBA Finals?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:03 pm
Whats so fun about jibbing the top of fences?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:05 pm
Whos more of a champion, michael phelps or travis rice?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:06 pm
If you were to meet michael jordan, what would you wear?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:08 pm
All the pros say, “it doesnt matter what you wear, as long as you love snowboarding” or some variation of that. But that cant be true because the better you are at snowboarding the weirder you have to dress right?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:08 pm
JP, are you a robot or just a human with superhero like powers? if a robot, who made you?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:09 pm
If you are ever speaking in the first person and talking about you’re Ipod, do you ever call it a Mypod?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:10 pm
Whos is your favorite rider that has influenced you the most? And what is your favorite video part of any rider, any video?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:10 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 1:11 pm
If you try to ball up on a true balla, will yo balls get balled on?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Fishings so lame, whats your favorite video on youtube?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Were you dissapointed in the ending of sopranoes
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:13 pm
If I gave you a run of the mill, 25 stair circle-bar hand rail, what gnarly shredtastic stunts would you pull…in order.
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:19 pm
JP, the snowboard industry tries to dictate to us that snowboarding isn’t for the old, but in fact a highly youth oriented activity. Being one of the older riders that’s still killing it do you feel that the industry needs to realize the importance of keeping around older pro’s instead of hyping up some kid who burns out in a year to a month? And what do you say when someone says you’re over 30 and washed up?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:20 pm
Would you rather be your favorite type of tree or a a never ending supply of your favorite juice, and why?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:20 pm
Hey JP! when did you start snowboarding, and how did you get into the sport. Also, do you have any advice for a 15 year old that is broke and trying to get sponsored?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Ever since I started snowboarding you were one of my favorite riders and you still are. I’ve always watched your video parts and I’ve always dreamed of being in your position. So I was just wondering:
Are there any tips you can give us from your experience, to be a well known person in the snowboard world?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:23 pm
JP! When was your first snowboard trip? I’m in north carolina(which sucks) and i am trying to plan a trip up the east coast. Just wondering what places you would suggest to ride at. Thanks
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:45 pm
what is (are) your warm up tricks?
which shot had given you the most satisfaction/made you happiest (photo and video)
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Mr. Walker. I know you and your crew have a strict code of ethics regarding old spots and one-upping previous tricks. What’s your opinion on the snowboard world flocking to Quebec every winter and doing the same tricks on the same played-out spots. Nothing against the place, or the rider’s from there, but it gets old seeing the same tricks, in the same spots, in 5 different videos every year.
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:48 pm
what or who pushed you into snowboarding or what influenced you to make snowboarding your career?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:50 pm
JP, 2 part question cause I know your too tech for just one! How was it filming with Stepchild again this year, and what was your most memorable experience this season?
Love your stoke, keep at ‘er man!
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:52 pm
Do you like filming in Montreal? I couldn’t get enough of the movie “Montreal” by sunset, it’s just so much fun to watch. Seeing you, on the forum team at the time, and the Rome team shooting all of the spots in that city was really cool. Do you have any other video parts with rails in Quebec?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:55 pm
super creative stuff like think thank’s Stack Footy, or epic double cork 12’s in that’s it thats all?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:56 pm
staring contest between you and sexton. who wins?
June 2nd, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Do you like the direction snowboarding is going?
The last great thing in snowboarding that really inspired me was RobotFood and before that it was the new, fresh style of The Resistance and the Forum 8.
What was your most recent BIG inspiration?
What do you think will be the next great thing in snowboarding? More flips, more spins, bigger airs…
Perhaps taking a step back and looking at why we started snowboarding to begin with is the way we need to go versus literally spiraling out of control.
Do you agree or disagree?
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:06 pm
JP, what’s your opinion about the lyrics on the song “Dark Skin White Girl” from Murs?
Thanx
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:16 pm
For any rider that has spent a season or two down with an injury, getting hurt can really change how you see snowboarding. However, on the upswing, winning contests does too. What events, injury or not, have changed the way you ride? How so?
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Everyone knows jeremy is an outspoken hater, are you a hater like him?
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I got 2!
Do you have Binding Sponsor/What Bindings are you riding? (you should sign with Union!!!!)
I remember reading an article on you, and you said you grew up with 2 mormon friends who really helped shape your moral beliefs, and you weren’t into the whole party/drinking scene. Whats it been like being a pro shredder with your moral values?
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:46 pm
why did you leave forum?
June 2nd, 2009 at 2:53 pm
Hello JayPee ,
I’ve got a nice question for you ..
Here’s the scenario . You wake up , and you find out that your girlfriend has been kidnapped - and that she’s on the other side of a cave . Now , this cave has two tunnels : one on the left , and one on the right . Either way leads you to your girlfriend , and her safety . However , both tunnels contain an obstacle for you to pass . The tunnel on the left features a bizarro/retarded version of yourself - he’s like you in every way , except that he’s evil . Should you fight and defeat him , you will be able to pass - yet you will never be able to snowboard again . In the right tunnel , there is a giant spider with the head of Barack Obama - a Baracknid . Should you fight and manage to defeat this formidable creature , you will in turn resurrect Adolph Hitler .
Which tunnel do you take , son ?
June 2nd, 2009 at 3:09 pm
JP
Which pro snowboarder has the hottest sister?
June 2nd, 2009 at 3:12 pm
Hey JP, been following you since the revelation days. Quick question, I heard you had been up to alaska for boarderline camp back in the day. Given the opportunity to come back would you hit only the streets like the people crew or would you ride pow too, if you had a sled or heli waiting for you with Dawger in Valdez? I know you are mostly known for your rails but the double cork and bs 10, innovative…keep jumping.
June 2nd, 2009 at 3:17 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 3:54 pm
JP,
Your skate skills are ridiculous. How has skating influenced your riding style, and what skate trick would do want to do on your snowboard if possible?
June 2nd, 2009 at 4:00 pm
Much respect for everything that you’ve brought to the sport. I know you have some new sponsors and filmed a full part this season. Question is….How much longer do you see yourself riding full time and putting out full parts each season? Is this something that you think about? Do you have any plans for after being a pro-shred?
Holla back!
June 2nd, 2009 at 4:01 pm
1. How was it filming with Simon and Joe this year for the StepChild / 32 movie?
2. What’s with the kit, how’s the 32 outerwear?

June 2nd, 2009 at 5:02 pm
UHH SON!!! Wat up JP?!?! My question is this, when you get to old for snowboarding, or maybe just bored with it (this is impossible, but its theoretical) what are you going to do with yourself? What is there to do besides laying around? What jobs are there?
June 2nd, 2009 at 5:09 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 5:54 pm
we have heard other pros (cough, cough pat moore cough) impersonations of you. So if you could pick one of your fellow riders to rip on who would you pick?
June 2nd, 2009 at 5:55 pm
Do you ever find it hard to focus on riding when you’re out sledding on a great day? Do you ever find yourself just wanting to go roop around on the sled rather than building a big huge jump?!
June 2nd, 2009 at 5:57 pm
my question:
ok imagine this.
you’re walking down the road, when all of a sudden you Mario in life-size

June 2nd, 2009 at 6:07 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 6:21 pm
MY QUESTION
Why did Mikko Sjoblom not return into Snowboarding and Forum? AND Have you also used to ride Forum Boards made in Austria like me, or is this just for Europeans? Can you send me your Forum necklace?
Can I try to get Shop Rider with 24? Haha just kidding. I use to ride max. 2 weeks a year.
(Hey JP, I found out about Forum in 1999 when my friend lend me Technical Difficulties. From that beginning on - watching all those Forum guys - I was hyped about the brand. I worked for Forum Austria in 2003 in the summertime during school. So I am still a big Fan of Forum and you. The most stupid thing is that I thought the Forum team of 2000 would last forever - I really thought that. I still wear the gear and follow the brand.)
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:25 pm
what is the best pickup line?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:28 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 6:28 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 6:29 pm
This one is really nice to know for me: I miss the old Special Blend lines from 2000 to 2002 - Do you still like the old gear and do you think SB lost some style?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:32 pm
The last one Jp - What do Pro riders like you do with the gear of every season? Do you give to your friends and do you still own some older SB gear?
Thank You Jp, and I appreciate if you answer at least one of my stupid questions, thanks Sir.
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:37 pm
hey jp,
when you signed with stepchild, it was kinda jumping from the big horse to the pony… how did you feel after your first season with the stepchild family? oh yea i got knocked out 3rd last by simon in bump at camp of champs…. kinda choked i didnt win a pair of your goggles… help a brother out?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:39 pm
What made you join stepchild snowboards, what’s their direction in the progression of snowboarding that you enjoy the most?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:43 pm
so we all know that progression is a huge part of our beloved sport, as an induvidual and in general, so my question is when it comes to you progressing and learning new things, how do you decide what is the next step to take? and when you are trying new things how do you over come the fear of falling?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:53 pm
ssupp dawg,
There has been a lot of changes with you in the past few years, sponsors, etc. What has been the hardest things to get adjust too and best thing in all the changes.
thanx
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:56 pm
To say the least you have been around for a couple of years and now with people claiming snowboarding is heading in the wrong path and too main stream. Being as you are somone who has givin so much to the past and present of snowboarding what do you think of the future of snowboarding?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:00 pm
what makes you do what you do? and i know most people would say because they love it but it seems that there is more to it than just enjoying it.
thanks for your time
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:02 pm
whats your favorite trick and why?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:05 pm
JP,
what path do you think snowboarding is headed? like look at all the varietes in the sport today, theres new kids who shred the rails (jed anderson, LNP etc.), average aged guys who slay it all (Pat Moore, Eero Ettala etc.) and older guys who either do it all or just backcountry (you, Jeremy Jones [Burton & Rossignal]) im just wondering how you think the sport will progress with all these different aspects.
Thanks Bro
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:06 pm
of all the motherfuckas who’s the motherfuckest
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:28 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
Hey man,
Now that you ride for Uncle Johnny are you straight reppin Brackendale?
Is your middle name Daryl?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
Are you bummed out because you have to read all these questions? rather be shredin?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:50 pm
Alright straight up your riding is amazing but lets see if you have some amazing answers to my questions.
Ever gotten head on a chair lift?
Had a boner while snowboarding?
Been scared shit less of a rail?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:56 pm
Hey I was watching “That” by Forum, and in your part, you hit a lot of trees man. How does that feel?
ha ha hit me back.
Much Respect
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:57 pm
when you show up to a rail, what precautions should the average rider take?
June 2nd, 2009 at 7:59 pm
What is the first trick you ever did on your snowboard?, when you first stepped on a snowboard, did you instantly have the urge to become a pro?
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:01 pm
jp, your god son
2 questions for you. 1 - have you ever killed anyone?? and 2 - have you ever fucked some ones mom??
p.s. id let you have me
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:02 pm
JP, Where you nominated for a superlative in your senior yearbook? If so, what was it?
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:14 pm
One day, you wake up.
But unlike most days you’re on a small island in the middle of nowhere.. with no snow!, you just so happen to have your 3 most beloved possessions, what are they?
After hopping around the island you discover that there is 3 other people on the island, who are they?
Weeks pass by.
Fortunately, a boat passing by find you guys and you get home safe.. Unfortunately, you realize you only have 24 hours to live, what three things do you do with the time left?
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:20 pm
Im a kid who consistantly three down in the park, but I had to take a bench for the season because I separated my shoulder and got a concussion. So here’s my question: whas the worst you have ever gotten hurt boarding, and what did you do to overcome it?
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:24 pm
whats your favorite pizza topping? or are you one of those wierdos who dosent like pizza?
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:25 pm
Jp, You have been riding mainly with Simon, Joe and the rest of the StepChild team, do you still get time to ride with your other friends such as Seth, Jeremy, and Mitch. Also how does the riding with StepC compare to the old Forum team, like which team pushed you more to ride crazy shit and do new tricks?
Thanks alot for answering these Questions
Nicholas Theoret
P.S. all time favourite boarder! and tell Simon i was drivin though Lindsay,Ont. the other week!
June 2nd, 2009 at 8:32 pm
Of all the wack questions, this one will hopefully take the title of wackest: Which is worse, getting skunked by SLC cops at every rail or spot, or getting skunked in Alaska waiting for the heli to fly?
June 2nd, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Do you ever ride with Jeremy Jones? I remember back when the forum 8 was around you two killed it together, and seemed like great friends. You two were the best to watch back then, and still are.
June 2nd, 2009 at 9:23 pm
how much money will it take for you to pull on a pair of tight pants and go snowboard in them
June 2nd, 2009 at 9:25 pm
whats the last number before infinity
June 2nd, 2009 at 9:26 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 9:29 pm

June 2nd, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Do you feel like the best??
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:03 pm
Hey JP, I wanted some of your thoughts on how the action sports industry is treating its athletes. From what I can gather it seems like up and coming snowboarders have a tough time funding themselves, and usually snowboarders don’t have health insurance. Do you think snowboarding companies need to take a bigger role in taking care of their riders? On the other side, is it the athlete’s responsibility to create more programs like the Injured Riders Foundation to protect their fellow shredding brethren? Thanks again JP and I look forward to hearing all your thoughts. Asalamalakum.
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:08 pm
What up JP, my question is- back in the day when you road Forum did you ever hear of “Stepchild” as a snowboard company and if so did you ever in your wildest dreams be thinking you would be riding for them?
Ride Stepchild!!!!!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:09 pm
haha answer this banger question…. i dare you… why do snowboarders make jumps onto handrails when skateboarders dont.. find me a legit excuse… cuase our rails arent insanely higher, we can crack higher ollies than skateboarders, our rails being longer has nothing to do with the ollie on process, and our tricks arent anymore tech then theirs.. what with their back 270 to tailslides and tre bombs into noseslide tom foolery nowadays.
June 2nd, 2009 at 11:18 pm
JP i know you love to surf do you think living in so-cal and being a serious professional snowboarder could happen for you? Also you have snowboarded every street scene around the globe but why have I never seen any street shots for local mountain towns here in southern cali i know you spend some time here every winter.
June 3rd, 2009 at 1:42 am
what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
June 3rd, 2009 at 2:05 am
What was the best day that you’ve ever had while snowboarding?

Do you think POG’s will ever make a come back?
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:00 am
Was there something you wanted to be before you got mad gully at snowboarding??
June 3rd, 2009 at 4:33 am
hey son!, this may be a stupid question but i’m really curious about your answer. filming is a big part of your schedule and everyone knows that for a few minutes of great shots sometimes several hours of work is needed. trying the same trick again and again, or being on the same spot for days may be frustrating after a while. how do you overcome these moment? filming so much doesn’t take away the passion?
and since we have the opportunity to get in touch with you, i want to take this chance and thank you for being an inspiration. watching your part in any movie or just reading an interview has helped me a lot through life, giving me strength and determination. i found my path and in that, you had been a big influence. thank you man and keep it up ! spread the love through snowboarding!
June 3rd, 2009 at 5:39 am
Hey JP
What do you think about the young rail dudes that are killing it today like: Eiki Helgason, LNP, and Louif Paradis?
Do you like what they are doing or do you wanna keep it simple and easy?
June 3rd, 2009 at 5:49 am
amg JP is reading this, thats preetty cool imo

JP, where are your favorite places and spots and to ride and why? you’re great at slaying everything but where personally are your favorite places to shred?
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:15 am
Do you enjoy snowboarding more now since it seems like pretty much every trick has been landed and now the little things matter more, like style, creativity, and how big the consequences are. Or was being a pioneer of the sport and being able to say you landed a trick before anybody else more satisfying.
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:20 am
were you ever picked on because of your big chin?
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:25 am
who got u started in snowboarding, and what are your best memories of the beginning years?
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:37 am
When the time finally comes when you feel like you are not able to hang on the premier level of the sport how are you going to handle it? Do you see yourself just vanishing to go you your own thing, maybe going out on something epic, or jus let it happen naturally. Also, when that time comes do you think people would nutswingers and treat you differently just because of who you are and would you accept it or be humble and admit you are starting to slip.
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:43 am
YO! first off huge fan. Second, it seems like through the years styles change, crews change, the scene basically gets revamped by the young guns. However, your style, consistency, flow, ideals, and image have all stayed consistent throughout your career. How is it that you keep the core of who you are so unchanged despite the ever changing crews, scene hype, or newest filming strategy?
My other question is: with your newest batch of sponsors, you seem to have taken more heart into the brands that want to represent you. The switch the Stepchild, Etnes/32, Raw, etc. are all new territory for you. How do you see these news brands effecting your career in a positive way? How much life do you feel these brands will help breath into already a fairly “senior” career?
Take care my man. See you in AK-
word son.

Have you every posted on a comment board on this site. If so what was the post. Are you a tight ass about the First trend. Do you hate the haters on the site. Or do you hate the the people that go out of their way just to hate on the haters more.
Or are you like me and only read it so I can brush up on my slang.
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:46 am
Yo JP!
There’s no question you’re a legend, no matter what, you will always be regarded as one of the (if not the)best in the game.
I just wanted to know how it is that you felt about retirement?
What i mean is, do you plan on making an epic ender, and then just peace on the top of your game?
Or do you just want to keep doing it for as long as you’re physically able, even if that does mean risking fading out and looking like the old guy who tried to hold on for too long?
Thanks,
-Marty SLC REPRESSENTIN!!
P.S. i accidently cut you off at the top of crest chair at Brighton this past season, sorry about that ha ha.

June 3rd, 2009 at 10:32 am
Dear JP,
I saw in a Jeremy Jones interview that you were on top of his “Favorite to ride with” list. And I know you both ride for MDP, so is it the same with you? Do you love riding with Jeremy also?
June 3rd, 2009 at 10:46 am

Hey JP, long time fan since your part in the resistance (minus where you got “beat up”). How do you keep at your peak performance? Is there a specific diet or workout routine that you follow, and how does it help out when you ride? Props to signing with raw revolution, and thanks for your time.
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:09 am
Going back to the Forum 8 days and being a part of the Forum 8. How does it make u feel to have been a part of one of the most progressive teams in snowboarding? Also how do u feel on how Forum seemed to let go most of the team so fast that made them what they are today?
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:11 am
yo JP.
about a 5 years ago i was able to sit down and talk with Kevin Jones, and Marcus Egge. to on the riders that i most admired. they told me that snowboarding is there passion and it was a dream come true when they were able to make a living at it. as these 2 riders have now become out of the picture. such as Egge is now a bartender. how does someone one when to quit as a pro snowboarder. everyone wants to always now how to get hooked up and im already there, i want to know when do you think is the right time for someone to just snowboard and not worry about comps, pic’s and vid’s. my thought is that i just want to snowboard and not worry about those things. what do you think? also i still gota give you props for you part in ShackDown. love that song and style. everything flows.
peace
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:31 am

June 3rd, 2009 at 1:06 pm
What’s you take on all the new tech in the snowboard industry, such as reverse camber boards? I feel like you would have opinion, since you’re a rail hitter and have seen all the progress so far.
June 3rd, 2009 at 1:23 pm
Who as a person really inspires you to do what you do?
June 3rd, 2009 at 1:31 pm
I hate those guys. They are pushing the progression of our sport and that is obviously a bad thing! If you want to get anywhere in the shred scene today, it;s all about keeping it simple and easy!

June 3rd, 2009 at 3:22 pm
What was the switch like after being with Forum for all those years, and are you more involved and stoked on the Stepchild/32 projects? Props on Double Decade.
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:28 pm

Bubo
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:34 pm
I ride in NEw York, i am seventeen, and with such a short season its hard to put into words what keeps me snowboarding. What keeps you snowboarding for all these years?
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:47 pm
J.P., at the end of the day, when all is said & done, & you’re by yourself (whenever that is), what does life mean to you more than anything else, & what would you like/hope that those who have known you/of you will think of when your name comes up?
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Uh, because the board’s attached to your feet…, duh!
June 3rd, 2009 at 3:53 pm

June 3rd, 2009 at 4:25 pm

June 3rd, 2009 at 4:35 pm
Jp,
What are some ways that you keep things fresh, and make almost HAVING to board day-in day-out still as fun?
June 3rd, 2009 at 4:41 pm
JP, what keeps you going? I know everyone will say the pure joy of it, but for some there is an underlying reasons as to why it is just pure joy.
June 3rd, 2009 at 4:43 pm
Hey JP i was just wonderin what you think is a good thing to progress in when you want to cut it as a pro snowboarder, backcountry, rails, or park stuff?
June 3rd, 2009 at 5:21 pm
Yo JP,
How do you prepare yourself going into the winter season? I always have a hard time going from biking in the fall, summer, and spring, and then snowoarding.
And besides skate, what do you do in your down time in the off season?
June 3rd, 2009 at 5:40 pm
where is your favorite place to ride
June 3rd, 2009 at 6:07 pm
who are you?
why do you suck so much?
June 3rd, 2009 at 6:07 pm
How do you think your parents came into play with your being a pro. We’re they supportive or did they not approve? Did it make you better because of how they felt about it?
June 3rd, 2009 at 6:13 pm
What is the difference between a Goblin, an Elf and a Dwarf?
June 3rd, 2009 at 6:13 pm
What rail tricks are on the way out? Which do you predict are going to be in next season? What’s a timeless rail trick? When was the last time you starfished off a rail for fun?
June 3rd, 2009 at 6:16 pm
You’ve been riding with Simon and Joe a grip and it looks like you’re having a blast, are there some riders you haven’t gotten to shred with for a while cause of schedules and stuff? How often do you and JJ get to shred these days?
June 3rd, 2009 at 7:20 pm

or even your best 5?
Jarryd
June 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
Hey JP, i read about how snowboarding has helped you avoid the drug and party scene. I just wanted to know, was it a big struggle for you growing up to put aside the drugs and focus on your riding? As you began to devote yourself 100% to snowboarding, did you see a dramatic difference in your riding? I think if you could elaborate a little on your story, it would be a great message for the next generation of riders who most certainly look up to you. Not only would it influence the children, but maybe even make people think twice when they try to stereotype snowboarders.
June 3rd, 2009 at 8:58 pm
Hey JP, what made you want to snowboard professionally? Why do u want to continue snowboarding? is it the love of the sport or what? What makes u love snowboarding?
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:28 pm
whats up with your style?
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:49 pm
JP-whats hotter? a girl who can charge hard and keep up with the guys? or a girl who patiently waits for you at the bottom of the slope??
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:17 pm
who are 5 kids on the scene right now that catch your eye, in regards to style, trick selection?
there are so many people thinking they are at that level, but who does the Don deem to be holding it down proper?
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:43 pm
do you still think you’re black? or has that fad passed?
June 4th, 2009 at 12:57 am
how does it feel to be a cocaine addict
June 4th, 2009 at 1:07 am
jp, you have been one of the most progressive riders in snowboarding for a long time. you were one of the first people to do a double cork 4 or 5 years ago in that snowboarder spread, you did that nose press transfer on the fourm section of that montreal video, and you were the first one to do the mctwist transfer wall to wall in your ender last year for picture this. What do you think is the most progressive trick you have seen done this year?
June 4th, 2009 at 10:06 am
/sarcasm
June 4th, 2009 at 11:30 am
Is there anything you cant do? and what is the best feeling when you snowboard? (ie the take off, being in the air, riding over new pow, etc)
June 4th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

June 4th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

June 4th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
Hey JP, do you only chill with girls who are shreds, or do you not mix business with pleasure.
June 4th, 2009 at 2:36 pm
Hey JP,
When (if ever) in your career have you thought about moving on from being a professional snowboarding and in pursuit of something else?
And what would it have been?
June 4th, 2009 at 3:57 pm
do u wanna shred? im gonna be in odgen this season haha
June 4th, 2009 at 5:42 pm
hey JP. soo word on the street in hope bc is that you and simon were sleddin up silver tip with Arne the man and you guys were lookin at building a stash up there or somthing. are ya’ll hooked up with kevin harris and that crew? if you guys did end up building a little labratory up there i figure with that and the RDS park goin in it could possibly be pretty righteous. so that being said, should i invest in a sunshine valley lot or what?
ps sorry for writing you a novel but i thought i would parctice up seeing as i got my english 12 exam next week
June 4th, 2009 at 5:55 pm
oh ya and some drunk guy who skates the park sometimes, claims that he co created forum and that you were actually techinally not part of the forum 8. he says that he chills with devun walsh but i’m pretty sure that he is full of shit, but he is known to have told kids that he’ll hook em up. maybe he is just a sexual predator but who knows i guess. sorry for the multiple posts but hope doesn’t see this kinda action regularly ha ,peace
June 4th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
dud… will u have my babies?
June 4th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
Hey JP,
I’m wondering what your take is on the evolution of snowboarding with the introduction of social media (Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Transworld Snowboarding Online) and how that has affected the talent by either watering it down or bringing to light the young guns which otherwise would’ve had a much tougher time getting exposure!
Thanks man.
June 4th, 2009 at 6:22 pm
dude.. will you have my babies?
June 4th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
How does it feel reading all these pointless questions?
June 4th, 2009 at 7:29 pm
if ur even reading this what keeps u doin all the crazy shit like sketchy rails and street stuff ? i kno if i was pro after a little while i would calm down with the crazy stuff and just injoy boarding for a living
June 4th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
Hey Jp,
How should i spend the off season? Snowboarding’s the only real sport I do and I want to know how to spend the summer bettering myself in the snowboarding ways, is there anything i can do to help polish my skills while I’m not out there on the mountain?
June 4th, 2009 at 8:37 pm
do you like cheese?
June 4th, 2009 at 10:12 pm
umm… you can ollie way higher on a snowboard BECAUSE YOUR ATTACHED. you can crank as hard as you want without worrying about keeping the board sucked up or losing it… cuase its coming with you
June 5th, 2009 at 4:24 am
What do you think of the economy these days?
June 5th, 2009 at 9:51 am
Where is your most memorable mountain moment located??? What was the scene and the memory???
June 5th, 2009 at 10:00 am

June 5th, 2009 at 10:49 am
Do you play halo? if so you should get owned up on hit me back
June 5th, 2009 at 11:31 am
JP, progression and innovation is a natural thing to happen to “sports” like skating, biking, boarding. However, do you think all the “tech” tricks that kids are throwing down will be a fad in the next couple of years or be tweaked and more intense?
June 10th, 2009 at 1:31 pm
Thats weird jp u said u like back 50’s better in the vid above
June 10th, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Ask Scotty Stevens would be a good one
June 10th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
where do you get your inspiration from?
June 10th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
ill bleach your phone!
June 10th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
jp.. you are burnt. man your like 80 years old please stop filming video parts. for me.
u should start bowling you could pick that shit up fast i bet flute
June 10th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
your skateboard isn’t 150 cm, you don’t spin onto the rail at all, you have control over your speed with a push where a snowboarder has to drop in or get towed, if a skateboarder used a jump he would have a chance of shooting off his board and eating major shit, and because most of the stuff we do includes a jump so we are used to it.
June 10th, 2009 at 10:01 pm
hey JP how long is your chin ???
June 10th, 2009 at 10:02 pm
hey jp how long is your chin …
June 11th, 2009 at 12:02 am
He got that from Ashton Kucher on Punk’d.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:36 am
why, in gods name, did he not pick this question?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:45 am
all forum boards are made in Austria, not just the ones that are sold in Europe.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:43 am
so i met this one kid n he said that u had stolen a gumball machine from a kids party in highschool is that true?
June 11th, 2009 at 10:42 am
im gonna put it this way.. the last part of what you just said settles it..were used to it. if a skateboarder has control over their speed then they could slow down if they were going to fly off a jump… haha its like every excuse isnt really legit.. and skateboarders spin onto rails.. where have you been haha
June 11th, 2009 at 11:21 am
thx JP! Looking forward to your hard work droppin in the new vid this year.
June 11th, 2009 at 11:55 am
you might as well hit up mountain creek in dirty jers on the way up, but VT is the spot. Killington has alot of terrain and stuff to do at night, Jay Peak is almost in Canada and they get alot of snow for the east, mt snow has a good park set up, sugarloaf in maine is the sh-t… go exploring man
June 11th, 2009 at 12:12 pm
Do Joey Sexton or Scott Stevens would be dope?
June 11th, 2009 at 12:58 pm
Can you clear up the rumors that you are cutting up rail in the salt lake area so that the new young guns can’t one up your tricks that you have done on the same rails.
June 13th, 2009 at 7:19 pm
or your tooo good simon!
June 17th, 2009 at 7:34 pm
Hey JP,
The first snowboard video I ever bought/saw was Forum’s “That”. I distinctly remember your ending part, and seriously it changed my views on snowboarding completely. Your style and everything about your part made me just want to snowboard more. Anyway, I became stoked on your snowboarding and I remember a few months ago the twsnow issue where you got the cover and and interview I think talking a bit about how people hate on you. I was just curious, why do so many people hate on you?
Keep it up!
August 1st, 2009 at 8:12 pm
how do feel knowin that a lot of people who see u ride or those who have known u for a while say that u are one of the best all time jibbers…if not the best. wats ur reaction to that?
