The longer effective edge on the www make it able to size down and still have the same amount of edge contacting the snow as you would on a longer board. This means the nose and tail are shorter and do not have very much “lift” off of the snow. I hate riding my www in pow… it takes too much effort(esp. compared to my sl-r) But just for pow kickers it works fine! The run in is packed, the lip is hard…. just lean back on the landing…. and get towed for another hit.

1) Skylar doesn't ride for Burton; he rides for K2.
2) I agree with the Burton comments. Yeah, contests are for some kids. Shaun and Kevin kill it. But everyone can agree that the sport is quickly turning to back-country. People want more powder, and less pipe. Burton and Forum need to stop dropping their best back-country riders for young ones in the lime-light.
