i think jed does it to give himself more of a nose and tail….more nose and tail=more press…more press=doper shit
that’s the only reason i can see for it, or maybe he just likes skating so much he wants to feel like he’s on a skateboard….when he rides through the park he looks like he’s got a skateboard with loose trucks under his feet, not a snowboard
i could care less either way, as long as the tricks he does are sick beyond reason….if he likes the narrow stance that’s fine, he doesn’t need to have his stance wide if he doesn’t want to

The tricks these guys are pulling are sick, but the tight pants and skinny stances have to go. when are people going to get a grasp of what style is? (hint: torstein and the skiers) yes I said skiers, check out the top rated movies on newschoolers.com if you don’t believe me. Other than T.rice and a handful of others, the skiers are showing us up!

Cant wait for the vid but these multiple teasers kinda suck because im all stoked to watch it then its just lame. That was more like d footy, not even the tricks just how they put it together. Like when they slowmod greniers bail for an hour even though it wasnt that good.

as a snowboarder it hurts me to say this. but skiers go bigger than snowboarders, i didnt believe that until my friend showed me a ski video where skiers were throwing shit off the biggest cliffs i’ve ever seen. bigger than the cliff in follow me around that andreas and dcp hit. idk why they do, but somehow they are able to take more impact. dont take it from me, see for yourselves

skiers do go bigger, they can go faster than boarders can which leads to bigger air off of kickers, cliffs, QP’s etc etc…..thats why there’s a big difference between a jump set up specifically for snowboarders vs a jump setup specifically for skiers….the skier jump will have more of a kick to it because they’re going so fast so instead of sending them a far distance it’ll boost them up in the air more
on the otherhand skiing is really easy and not hard at all….of course the pros just spin until their dizzy on and off every single rail, jump etc….but as for doing rails and simple shit on skis it’s not very hard

True dat. Skiers may go bigger on jumps but it’s a totally different style than snowboarding. They dont understand the awesomeness of floating a huge backside one with a tweak. All they can think is spin bigger and faster so thats what they do.
We definitely own them on rails, maybe not in spins on and off and number of switchups, but definitely on style and creativity. They have like 2 different grinds, we have too many to name. Skiers cant even press or butter a box like a snowboarder either. There are still snowboarders like TR and Torstein that will always be nuts on jumps too.

i went from a narrow stance one day to a wider stance the next cause i wanted to try it out and instantly liked it more than having my feet 12 inches apart from eachother…it takes 5 minutes to change your stance up
