One of the many reasons that could why he’s so good is that he skateboards regular and snowboards goofy making him almost a complete ambidextrous on his snowboard. Also his skate skills are freakin high, so what he sees as possible to do is much greater than most people. So combine these two things and a kid thats 17 or 18 and you get an explosion of sick tricks like we have here.

This is so true and such a massive epic fail by Rome that they should hire a brand rider recruiter, because this is actually quite unacceptable, probably one of the biggest Fuck ups of 2008. Rome had Jed on their regional am-army and he was just a guy they flowed boards to with a photo incentive here or there. No one and probably not even Jed (Well maybe Jed) knew how good he was going to get. We are all on here myself included hating on the little guy’s stance, but this is extremely marketable and being in the industry I know first hand that individuality mixed with top-notch talent sells. Watch how many Salomon Drifts are sold next year compared to this year and it will be uncomparable. People are going to be all over Salomon next season and Rome could have had allllll those sales if they would’ve thrown him a measily 30 grand.

Jed you are good as fuck. You’ve really done shit that people have been doing for a while and put a dope steez to it. You also have come to the plate with so many switch tricks that are just smooth (Probably because you skate regular i guess?). The switch front blunt 270 on the double barrell was so sick!

Thanks tgrip. To progress you have to do three things I’ve found out from skating.
1) Ride with guys pushing themselves, even if they’re on a different level as you.
2) Don’t be a pussy and never second guess yourself and halfway commit to a new trick or else it could go wrong more easily.
3) The third and most important rule to progression is to not be a pussy.
