Ok high Schoolers…7 springs elevation at summit (2,995ft)…summit elevation at Boulder maybe 2500ft…same shitty vertical…got Blue Mt or Blue Knob for real vertical….
First off, 7Springs has the best superpipe from here to Stratton, and that is a fact. Springs’ jump line @ The Spot this year was better than last years Boulder Park….
Whatever, why am i wasting my time…&springs annually gets a two-week period of non-stop lake effect snow…accumulating up to 15 inches per week…Poconos are lucky if they get a good dump once a year anymore…
ive found powder stashes on the west side of Springs that was thigh-deep..that never happens in the poconos…ever
As far as riding skill goes…the little groms of the Lehigh Valley are definitely better than the slednecks of western PA…plain and simple

people on snowmobiles tend to be the most dangerous people in the backcountry. a lot of them are people who are just into things with motors and have little to no avalanche knowledge. while this might be the case with many snowboarders as well, when you add the ability to roop up a mountain and about 500 lbs, the problem is greatly compounded. plus, crossing high marks when riding sucks ass.

Ok, nobody gets to talk about their resort on here besides WELCH VILLAGE. with a vertical rise 360 feet we have the most powder from loon to bear. We have more secret spots any other resort combined. Dont even get me started on the park and the shoggies.

most pro’s don’t get to spots by highmarking dangerous slopes. Most zones in Whistler and every other sled meca are relatively safe to travel through(with exceptions) and don’t require being an idiot to get to features

i wrote the headline and high marking is stupid. If you had the ability to comprehend what you read, you wouldn’t be confused about what is presented in this short video. there is no “hate” toward snowmobiles. High marking for kicks in avalanche territory is asking to die—and risks hurting others who are in the area. Your knowledge of the backcountry must come from video games and message boards.
