Winter Dew Tour
The Winter Dew Tour consists of three major, multi-sport events spanning across the country, with a cumulative points system, and a $1.5 million competitive purse. Each event features men and women’s snowboard (superpipe and slopestyle), and men’s freeskiing (superpipe and slopestyle). At season’s end, the overall point’s leaders in the six disciplines are crowned year-end champions and awarded the prestigious Dew Cup. As part of an Alli property, key lifestyle elements compliment the competitions at each Tour event including the Festival village, specialty competitions, and live cutting edge music. The Dew Tour is broadcast live on NBC Sports with additional competition and lifestyle broadcasts on MTV, MTV2 and USA.

http://boardcartel.wordpress.com/ snowboarding first try fridays from a little shop in denver called the board cartel. trying to show off local kids who can kill. wake up first thing in the morning and chuck a trick, our call, off of breck’s 65 footer. 1 month of fridays.

February 22nd, 2009 at 6:02 am
Im agree
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:07 am
wow the girls where good here, pretty agressive riding!
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:54 am
wow. SW and TH really can snap the takeoff to those spins!
February 22nd, 2009 at 8:14 am
watching the women was so much better! slow spins with style is where its at. the guys were just spinning as fast as possible, it basically gave me motion sickness
February 22nd, 2009 at 8:15 am
yeah, but it doesnt look good. its turning into just spin as fast as possible, it looks terrible. i want style!! (go ladies)
February 22nd, 2009 at 9:31 am
I’d rather see all four 540’s styled out
February 22nd, 2009 at 9:44 am
sickige
February 22nd, 2009 at 9:58 am
filming and editing sucked. sweet tricks, breck’s jumps are better though
February 22nd, 2009 at 10:04 am
is jamie anderson riding a GNU? I thought she was on salomon
February 22nd, 2009 at 11:37 am
How the hell did Janna Mayen lose when she threw a cab 5 and cab 7 off her toes??? she deserved that first. I guess Jamie Anderson is the new Shaun White. All she has to do is crap out a run and take home the gold.
February 22nd, 2009 at 11:42 am
With tons of style too.
February 22nd, 2009 at 12:02 pm
I agree, my eyes hurt, I find it pretty funny that most slope”style” events are judged on how many spins you do, not on how smooth, consistent, creative and “styley” your runs are.
February 22nd, 2009 at 12:13 pm
Yes, from what I see, Meyen was solid there
February 22nd, 2009 at 1:55 pm
torstein is amazing i saw him at mount snow
February 22nd, 2009 at 2:38 pm
torrsy’s a shredd beast dragon boy…shaun can bend over…
February 22nd, 2009 at 4:17 pm
Janna took third? How is that possible she killed it.
February 22nd, 2009 at 4:22 pm
yeah Janna!!!! SICK. deserved first for SURE!!!!
February 22nd, 2009 at 5:12 pm
Jamie keeps on winning cuz she’s sexier. She sells the sport to the women.
February 22nd, 2009 at 5:40 pm
too much spinning… i barely prefered girls…
February 22nd, 2009 at 6:10 pm
no
February 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 pm
yay for a minute and a half worth of 5 tricks played over and over
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:39 pm
Can Shaun White 180?
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
kook
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:45 pm
ur a huge huge kook
February 22nd, 2009 at 7:47 pm
ya off all 3 of the jumps? fucking kooks. anyone who snowboards can style some 540’s. Its way harder to spin a switch back 12. thats why they’re pros
February 22nd, 2009 at 9:36 pm
same song as mtsnow dew tour video=lame
February 23rd, 2009 at 8:44 am
there needs to be a counter on how many times people had said “slope style needs more style” as if it were an original comment. its getting annoying. the reform needed in slopestyle is more emphasis on rail features. right now technical rail tricks are avoided because they absorb speed needed for the jumps. speed reform, not trick reform. if all guys were spinning was fives it would be one boring ass comp.
February 23rd, 2009 at 8:46 am
stop judging opinions you fool
February 23rd, 2009 at 8:46 am
the girls spin more slowly, that doesnt give them style. example, spencer obrien spun so slow that she underrotated her back 5. that is not style. style is, for example, when someone like benedek throws two shifties into a 9.
February 23rd, 2009 at 12:30 pm
probably not…. i dont think he knows wut a 180 is…
February 23rd, 2009 at 12:30 pm
worst filming and worst video also spinning that much 20 foot tables don’t look that dope
February 23rd, 2009 at 12:41 pm
thank u compton
February 23rd, 2009 at 12:43 pm
i cant help it when ur opinion is so foolish
February 23rd, 2009 at 3:10 pm
i’d have to agree that the spin to win mentality in contests these days is not a good thing. it can’t be blamed only on the riders though since they are just doing what they need to win. I wasn’t there so i don’t know what other riders were throwing down but it would be nice to see some grab variations and creativity in the air. It seems that most of the time they are just hucking and holding on for dear life either lein or indy. don’t get me wrong eric, what these guys do is insane and maybe what i’m looking for is going to be the natural progression of things and we’re simply not there yet; it would just be nice to see some unique style from each of the riders not necessarily meaning less spinning.
February 23rd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
I hope that the two cab 5’s were just repeated 6 times, rather than Anderson actually throwing two in a run like the editing made it look like. How can you throw the same trick twice in the same run and win?! Bogus at best, and despite the fact Jana Meyen spun three times the same direction, looked like a waaaay better run than the two above her. Cab toe spins looked sick and smooth.
February 23rd, 2009 at 11:17 pm
janna killed it….she shoulda won…better balance no flapping…..etc….nuff said
she got robbed
February 24th, 2009 at 11:55 am
shaun whites a fat cunt
February 24th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
ya he totally should have done a 180 instead of a 1080 off that last jump. His run would have been SOOOO much more “stylish if he did a 180 in it. That really would have impressed the judges SOOOO much more. He should just do 180’s from now!!!!! who cares if that would drop his skill level to ANYONE who has snowboarded for 2 years or more; He would have better style. KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKS
February 26th, 2009 at 3:05 am
haha, it’s funny how you’re actually adressing “eric” as if you’re having a serious discussion with him.
February 26th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
Janna Meyen should have won. So solid on the cab 7 toes, and her back 5 was 20 times better than spencer’s, and 100 times better than jamie’s cab 5 and ugly switch back 1… Are the judges even looking at the run? Janna got robbed big time.
February 27th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
holy spin to win batman
April 5th, 2009 at 2:42 pm
you suck
