These vids are like crack. All the throwback footage so far is from the season I first started riding and these are the guys, the moves, the style and the footage i watched and got stoked on. LOVE IT. Keep em comin TW!
dude these guys are sick, i like how the riding style was more like a surf style. plus they dont 720 everything, they pop sick stylish 180s and 360s with tweaked grabs. its all about style and these guys made it was it is today
That place is siccccccccccccccccck i was there this September. the place is called Pucon, Chile. such a random location. it’s a live volcano, and you can actually hike to the the top and look into a smoking crater. the ride down is also epic. so many cool lava drainages and drops. ya ya, South America is bomb!
Yeah, same here. So crazy to think about how far it has come since then. Just nuts to see some of the names pop up in these throwback movies. And the music and just everything makes me feel like i’m 13 again.
To the guy below that said something about having no steez back then. You have NO idea how much steez that front 180 shifty that Jason Brown had. People were KILLING that trick at my home mountain back then.
these guys are what i call the pioneers of style, swagga, you know that shit everyone wants but only a select number of folk will earn it. wat you know bout dat”’
I think thats what makes everyone look so much smoother now days…
we ride wider stances…
(i like watching these throwback vids… i’ve only been shreding part time sense 2002.. (full time sense 2007) so i don’t know alot about shred history in the 90’s…)
