You don’t hit jumps blind, thanks to the Resort Poll, you don’t have to blindly pick which resorts you hit up either. Study this best parks list and try to hit up all ten of ’em … why not?

* About The Poll: The online Resort Poll is voted on by both subscribers and the online readers of twsnow.com—in total over 1,600 readers logged on to cast their votes. Readers were given the opportunity to vote on the three best resorts they visited during the 2007/2008 season, ranking them on 21 different categories. Some 154 resorts across North America and Canada were judged, after the numbers were crunched, ten in each category rose to the top.

A switch was flipped for serious improvements in the parks at Whistler/Blackcomb this past season. Firstly, a changing of the guard in park management saw Brian Finestone take the reins with a plan to re-invigorate the park offerings at WB. He explains, “The first thing was to keep the parks fresh by switching up the setups weekly so riders would always have something different to discover. We also got creative with our fleet of rails, boxes, and picnic tables by setting up new combos that mimicked urban, skate-style features. I encouraged the crew to come up with creative stuff and let them just go for it.” The park crews also expanded the size of several parks utilizing dead space in existing parks and building hits on parts of runs that were unused in the past, which ultimately added several acres and a dozen new features to the resort’s ample park offerings.

mr im from vt, youre an idiot. i lived in vermont for about 20 something years, once i got the chance i moved outwest and never looked back. lived in truckee last year and worked at northstar, that park is the most fun. its different almost everyday and everything is perfect, not to mention you end ever run with the best maintained pipe. the only reason to rep vt would be for bolton valley, thats where the action is

BOREAL!? If you are going to prop bear as number 2 then Boreal should undoubtedly be somewhere in the top ten. Open day and night. Epic jib features in the superpipe!? Boreal is the best place to get your hot lap on for sure when Northstar closes for the day. Oh wait, it’s sponsored by Snowboard magazine, TWS can’t show the love.

  • midwest Says:

Where is a poll for best terrain? Oh that’s right, powder scares most TWS readers.

  • pc Says:

i just moved to park city, and im just glad to be at a mountain that HAS a park, whether its #1, 7 or 100. so go out and ride, if you don’t have a fantastic park be inventive. thats what snowboarding is about, creativity.

  • moebius Says:

    where’s the list?

  • kick it at bear Says:

how is bear at #2 a joke. the only thing that sucks is that all the huge stuff that you see in the vids, are only in the vids, they build a phat gap with a hugee kicker, shoot some film, then block it off so no one else can attempt it.

  • Cool dude Says:

THE BEST MOUNTAIN IN THE WORLD IS JAY PEAK IN VERMONT. THEY GET 375 INCHES OF SNOW A YEAR. THE GALDES ARE SICK AND THERE ARE NO CROWDS ALSO IT IS COOL THAT IT IS SO CLOSE TO QUEBEC YOU COULD GO TO MONTREAL OR QUEBEC CITY TO HIT SOME SICK STREET.

  • Dizzane P Says:

canyons repressent good to see utah gettin da credit that is well deserved. gotta ta give pc more love baby sick shit you east siders need to move to some real mountains weeesstt siiidee!

  • Dizzane P Says:

oh yeah and if bear is at number two then brighton utah should be in there lots of funkie jibs but no big hits rails are fun but thats it they are becoming more of a fasion show or carnival than sick big booters are what seperate real riders and possing little bitches

  • billy joe Says:

    shut the fuck up

  • Johnny Love Says:

the best snow/mtns may be in Canada, but let me assure you that American craft beers kick the crap out of ANY canadian beer

  • nick Says:

your a douche go do a slash or something homo

  • nate Says:

hahaha wisconsin get it but im going to have to go with granite peak for best midwest resort. brule is like 300 feet tall and they dont know how to groom for shit, and they have the worst park set up ever, tyrol has the best park and its always open early and late. but granite takes the top

  • last, first Says:

this list is kinda jacked. there are a couple of parks on this list that shouldnt even be mentioned, and a few parks that didnt make the cut that shouldve. And who cares at all about vermont!
