if this guy was a good snowboarder he wouldnt ride for rome, a shitty company that takes 5 minutes to put their graphics on an elan made board. The makers of rome left burton because it was too big and started their own company. They are now the most hypocritical motherfuckers in the sport of snowboarding, using a false image of being underground to practically become the second biggest company. so i think all the hammers that you’re talking about arent really hammers at all, just more stupid tricks like snowboarding down a dirt road and doing two foot high front ones

i agree. quite possible the most over rated rider out there. if he was wearing ‘normal’ clothes, he would be nothing. all the tricks are whatevs, really, with two or three hammers. so bummed, because this would never happen in skating. the look and the hammers are hand in hand. this kid should crawl back to whatever hold he came out of and take those wack ass methods and double handed grabs with him.
no he has quite a few actual hammers, bs 180 switch 5-0 180 out down this flat down ledge, bs 180 on 270 switch up on a downrail and bs 180 on rewind 3 out to name a few of them, most of this B footage isnt even in his part from the video, plus its a completly different song

k2 makes dank boards, i just picked up a signal and i like them a lot, a lot of companies are good, i just think rome is some dumb shit, the boards they had their first season in production had real graphics and they were awesome, but about two seasons in rome went huge and started making stupid products and putting stupid people like lnp on thier team

this is one of the worst video parts ive ever seen. The guy obviously has a lot of talent, but there were so many shots in this video that were just bad tricks. I dont want to watch a video that shows a guy doing a ton of tricks that i can already do. A guy who cant spin past three should not even be considered for a video part or even sponsorship.

Those bits from in the city were awesome. I love parts like that, where you think “I could do that”, clips of places you wouldn’t expect to be able to snowboard, but can with some creativity. Those mini-jumps aren’t as jaw-dropping as an awesome backcountry line, but they remind me that I can still have fun snowboarding even if I don’t live in whistler or alaska.
