yo i shredded with this jeremy when i was younger. he lives in tahoe and so did i. we shredded squaw, not ak but i was still blown away by how good he truly is. he is an amazing snowboarder. he may not jib the park in tights but that doesnt negate the fact that he is probably one of the most talented pros out there. so dont hate on him because he wears a helmet, snowboarding is suffering because of piece of shit kids. stop trying to divide our sport up. we all like to snowboard, and if you dont stop doing it. fuckin bitch. game recognize game, we need to do that.

It was proably a very serious decision to make, but i would say the best one. You could knock helmets all you want, cause you probably ride east coast groomers everyday and spend more time outside your bindings than in them, but they definitly do the job well.
I aswell use to hate helmets (the few contest’s i actually signed up for) clunky, heavy, puchbag wabbily material that makes everything seem trapped in like a virtual video game….not to mentioned the so called “uncool” factor that follows when you realise that only you and a handfull of poeple are wearing.
But when i made my switch to BC and started to make my way to the backcountry, i felt it would be a wise decision to start wearing one again. I’ve only ever banged my melon once on a rail(without helmet) so i can’t say it’s saved my life, but it’s given a little more confidence when it come to new terrain. Trust me just because it’s soft snow, doesn’t mean it won’t hurt. When your barreling down a 40 degree chute that leaves no room for error and is no wider than the hallway in your porch, it still hurts to bail over and over till you ragdoll to the bottem. plus it saves you the work of going to find all your headgear.

It comes down to preference. It really surprises me that there isn’t more professionals that wear them. It is there job and they do it because they love it. One mistake and that can be all taken away from them. As for you and me, well i love the sport and would love to keep doing it, but if something was to happen, how could i pertain a carreer if something serious was to happen. i can’t see myself bed ridden for life with a loved one having to make my every move till i wither in my own crap.

Burton jeremy jones is one of the best snowboarders ever and has the stats to prove it and anybody that hates on him hates on snowboarding as we know it. Who really even cares about rossi jeremy jones wearing a helmet. His career is so insignificant that nobody should even care. War Jp Jones and Jeremy Walker being the best jibbers ever.

First of all guys there is nothing wrong with either jermey Jones. One if an amazing jibber the second is an amazing snowboarder in AK. Before you call the latter of the two a pussy it would be nice to see one of you post a video of you charging anything like JJ in AK. The man has some serious guts for what he does. Show some respect to one of snowboarding’s Legends.
