wow, i looked at the comments and it definetly dosent look like a snowboarder little forum. why do you guys swear on each other so much??? and if the vid dosent play then just go watch another one, do you have to leave these dumb comments?
wow your so core!!! i dont support burton bc they are to commercial… get a life guy just bc its the most popular brand doesnt mean they dont make good boards… actually the best boards with the most money put into them…the best board with the most money put
what a joke!!! If these are the riding conditions/requirements for what TWS brands as “Good Wood”, then their list, well - sucks. Nearly every shot in this video had someone hucking for some air time…hmmm… exactly how do you rate the quality of a snowboard when it is not on snow?
And I’ve been on these “test runs” at Breck and for them to say they test for speed stability, then they don’t ride fast or don’t know where to go at breck to get some true speed.
So, my suggestions to TWS:
1. Good Wood should mean more than park, pipe, jibbing, buttering(whatever tha hell that is good for) and all around “look at what I can do” stupid tricks. I don’t play in the park, I don’t bounce my board off of trees/stumps/tables/tops/VW beetles/ - I actually RIDE my board… in all conditions: steeps, deep, crud and groomed. Your current list only applies to park/pipe reqs as far as I can tell.
2. Go to more than one resort! A board in the east is not the same as a board in the west! You don’t have to do the testing on the same day(s). Try to spread it out, so you have a broader range of conditions and slope/runs.
3. ….carving isn’t something you just do to a Thanksgiving turkey. spinning, jumping, twisting, and jibbing are the tiny, tiny threads that make up the snowboarding fabric. No matter what the X-games might tell you.
..and to all you Burton haters…well, you wouldn’t even be posting to this board if it wasn’t for Jake. He rules ALL OF YOU! Most of you aren’t suited for wiping Shawn Farmer’s ass.
