The always-forward-thinking heads at Burton employed some seriously NASA-esque technology for the Vapor. Built with weight-shaving carbon Vaporskin Lite (the same stuff that’s found on space shuttles) for magnified response, and aluminum honeycomb core for explosive pop, this board will soar like a rocket.
Tester feedback:
“The vapor is awesome. It rallies up the walls in the pipe and sends you in the air—this is definitely a great ride.”
“Sick board! Very fast edge-to-edge, light, fun.”
Available sizes: 150, 153, 157, 158W, 159, 162W, 163, 166W
$999

this truely is an amazing piece of engineering. But worth the grand?

I never would have spent a grand on a deck, but I was gifted one of these and, well, wow? If you’re good enough to demand a lot out of the board, it’s worth the bills. Demo one, you’ll find it special.

I bought one of these last season and must say I am super dissapointed. I have always rode still boards (14 years now) but this thing is retarded. don’t get me wrong good board but not worth the price tag. there are a large number of cheaper comparable or better decks around. also every little hood rat prick will wanna steal it

With the weight savings and now EST/ICS. This is the board for the rider that wants it all and can afford it. Rode a NEW! one every season for the last 3 and was surprised at the resale value. Although labeled a Pipe board, rides exceptionally well everywhere else. If you have cash to burn?, you can design one at Burton’s SERIES13 for about $1400-1500.00- “Ballah$$$`”

the vapor is a nice ride - but I wouldn’t call it a really stiff board. Yeah, it’s pretty light… but it can get a bit choppy at very high speeds. Plus, the top sheet on the one I had was not that durable.
Looking for a stiff board??? find yourself the last Johan pro model Burton put out. It is a rocket and will work you if you are not up for it. If you can handle it, well, I’ve never been on a board that is so stable at high speed.
T6 is still the best all around stick Burton has.
