I dont know why everyone is wigging out about the MGMT song. Eddie used it big fuckin deal. If any of you has watched a big budget hollywood film they re-use songs all the time. As far as movie production is concerned its not about who has the most original song so much as who chooses the most pertinent song for the project. Bitching about shit like a song in a video is what makes snowboarding lame.

its not about the song… yeah the song always makes a video part an so on but the song fit the edit well. who cares if it was used in guns out or whatever else it was in, go yell at MDP for using the same song in their Double Decade promo, that song was in the Hot Chocolate Video by Chocolate skateboards. its not a big deal guys. just be chill about an comment the kids editing cause he has some talent.

Very clever video. Thanks for putting a good idea to use and sharing it.
As far as the song issue, when you watch a snowboard video all the time a song can get associated with a part or a rider. That is why producers try to avoid using a song that someone else used. When it’s just a trailer, not as much. Either way, it’s not that big of a deal in the end, but i guess that some people want to be a part of things and feel all clued in even though they’re just sitting in front of a computer and not adding any creativity to the world. And yes, that goes for me too.
