Hip-hop.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Greg Maxwell graduated from the esteemed Waterville Academy that has produced shredders like Scotty Lago, Pat Moore, Chas Guldemond, and loads of others. Chas expounds on Maxwell, “The first time I ever saw Greg he was bombing knolls under the chair so f-king fast, the kid was outta control. Since then the hockey-tempered Hampshire dirt has been honing his skills and style to become one of the most unique and well-rounded snowboarders outta the East Coast.” Greg’s come a long way in the past few seasons. He’s got wicked style in the park, in the street, and out of bounds-and he’s a good buzzard. -Evan LeFebvre

With Lake Tahoe having one of the worst seasons we can remember, Greg had to think outside the box to make this photo happen. Railroad tie ride to frontside 180 in a top secret location. Photos: Chris Wellhausen

born and raised in new hampshire, i would expect greg maxwell to say some stupid, narrow-minded, and very ignorant remark like “hip hop” being the worst trend in snowboarding. this statement is highly offensive in many ways, and not just because he may not have a listening preference for hip hop or rap music.

hip hop is a way of life PERIOD not a trend.

the last time someone said hip hop was a trend was back in like 1980. personally, i’ve never seen a trend last 30+ years consistantly while continuing to grow into countries world wide! in every aspect of mainstream media and business, hip hop is used to sell everything from tooth paste and deodorant, to cars, movies, and sporting events. hip hop is part of the money that is produced by the snowboarding market. hip hop is part of the checks you earn if you even have a productive career in snowboarding FOOL.

Q). do you know what the worst trend in snowboarding is greg maxwell?

A). ignorant little assholes on the mountain that open there mouth and say the dumbest thing possible when they get a little shine from the media (sound familiar?)

big ups to transworld snow! you guys get me threw the seasons whether there is snow or not!

    philly. you are a fool.

Holy Shit! Philly you are the biggest fucking idiot on this site.

Greg is absolutely 100% right. Hip Hop is a terrible trend. It poisons the youth of America. It is mindless, crap that in fact helps keep people down by sending the wrong materialistic message to the ghetto and poser white kids who should be studying to get better grades so that they won’t end up being slaves of society just like you. You are being exploited for buying in to “it’s a way of life” with you stupid looking clothes, your cheap cologne, your ghetto liquor and that stupid fucking racket you call music. It’s a way of life, what a fucking joke you are. I would rather master-bate with a cheese grater to the sight of you smelly old ass mom then to ever buy in to that trend.

And FYI, you are absolutely 100% right it is in the main stream media selling all kinds of products, just like all the mindless jingles you hear on crappy TV commercials for tooth paste and deodorant, to cars, movies, and sporting events. The kind that are so fucking stupid and stick in your head. The simplistic beats that help to brainwash you to be a consumer of useless goods. You won my fucking argument for me.

    Q) Would Greg Maxwell kick the ever loving fucking shit out of “Philly” if he ever said that shit to his face?

    A) Without a doubt.

So, you stay hip hop cool. You dumb mother fucker.

P.S. Tell the Hip Hop world to hold their guns straight up and down, not sideways, when they shoot each other. They would do the world a favor by having less hip hop albums produced every year.

i’m glad to see that greg gathered a few homosexuals to swallow his cum based on the idea that they could get signed by burton, or at least get a couple pro-forms.

what you described in your argument is “RAP” music. i am particularly talking about true “HIP-HOP” music… something you wouldnt understand because of your small brain being brainwashed by your kin folk.

FYI, true hop hop is about uplifting your soul and empowering you to be a better person then you think you are. NOT ABOUT GETTING GUNS AND SHOOTING PEOPLE. god knows you small town columbine freaks have that under control already. angry black man = shoots a crackhead

when you open your eyes and stop feeding me the bs that you learned from your fore-fathers, then try having a conversation with me
