Oakley Canopy Goggle ($130-200)
The thing about the Canopy is the field of vision: it’s pretty giant, great down and outwards, but it manages to avoid the fisheye feel on your face. Oakley’s lens technology is pretty insane—Carl Zeiss optics—and with the high-end foam Oakley uses, the goggle has a nice overall feel. The one real drawback would be this: if you’re hesitant about dropping in on an oversized frame, these will still probably seem too big to you. Put it like this: They’re on the lighter end of the heavyweight division, but a heavyweight nonetheless. (You can always go for Oakley’s Asian Fit—same goggle, just geared for smaller faces.)
If you’re a fan of the larger spherical frames out there, then you’ll likely enjoy these.
