Last weekend New Zealand watched two of their top freestyle riders, Stef Zeestraten and Christy Prior, both take first at the Billabong Bro Down, a 4Star World Snowboard Tour event which took place in Snowpark, New Zealand. Wanaka rider, Zee, came out on top out of the 50-plus international riders competing in the Open Men’s Division, walking away with 500 World Snowboard Tour Ranking points along with a cash prize of $5,000 and a Sony NEXF3 single lens kit camera. Kaukapakapa’s Christy Prior took the lead in the Open Women’s Division winning $2,500 in prize money as well as 500 World Snowboard Tour Ranking points and a Sony NEXF3 single lens kit camera.
