Tailgate Alaska Video
I went to Alaska for my first time during this year’s Tailgate AK event. The parking lot atop Thompson Pass, just outside Valdez, transformed into a gathering ground of snow revelers of all types, from all places and backgrounds for two weeks. With its mind-stretchingly long daylight and alien-esque Northern lights, Alaska almost felt like a foreign planet. The riding was unlike any place I’d ever strapped-in. Its magnitude was beyond comprehension, its people eclectic, and its mountains more far-reaching and untamed than any I’d ever seen. This is the people, food and adventure I experienced during my short stay in this vast land of snow.
