Getting out to 'the zone' was a tough one, but once there, with the sleds gone, we were left in silence... no jets overhead, no car alarms in the night, no cell phone signal, just the mountains. And the mountains there blew us away, as worthy as any AK or Chamonix have thrown at us previously. Here Jeremy and Terje head to nearby chutes before we got the refresh of snow.

The story, written and shot by Dan Milner, features Terje Haakonsen and Jeremy Jones shredding a chain of islands on the far Northern reaches of a Norway, only 700 miles from the North Pole. Polar bears are a real threat as is the remoteness. Part of the two-year splitboard film project Further, the crew tackles massive 2,000-foot long, 50-degree couloirs and returns to tell about it.
