TWS Associate editor Ben Gavelda went off the grid in California’s Sierra mountains to Mikey Basich’s hidden retreat. He brought along a jam band of snowboarders including Stephan Mauer, Mads Jonsson, Danny Davis, Eric Jackson, Tim Humphreys, and Jeremy Thompson to shred it up in “the backyard.”
