Heading to the camp ramp was a must after the refresh of snow. With the 3 day storm blowing snow a foot or two deep into the couloirs it was a case of waiting for it to stable before hitting such exposure. Being able to see this ramp from camp, meant getting to work out exactly when it would have light. Jeremy and Terje hit it at about 1:30 in the morning.

Svalbard is one of the most remote places on earth. It’s located north of mainland Europe, midway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. There’s more polar bears than humans that live there. So when Jeremy Jones, and Terje Haakonsen decided to take a trip there, we just had to document it.
