Nitro Fate ($400)

Predestined to rip. This directional twin comes with stable zero camber and a dual degressive sidecut to ease spins off the lip, but hold an edge on the landing. Tip-to-tail poplar in the core keep the deck light, strong, and flexible and a thinning of the core between the feet makes steering a cinch. For that skate vibe, a thin P-tex layer of the base scratches off when it comes in contact with jagged surfaces, while a second layer protects the insides.
Tester Feedback:
“Built for an aggressive rider. The edge holds well in firm conditions. A great all-mountain shred stick.”
