THIS SUNDAY AT STONEHAM: Conquer the 120 feet water pond at the Super Splash Arctic Spas
Stoneham, March 30, 2010 - Skiers and snowboarders up for quite a challenge are invited to try one’s luck and make it across the 120 feet artificial water pond created especially for the occasion at the base of Stoneham Mountain Resort! This Sunday April 3, marking the last ski day of the season at Stoneham, people can expect thrills and excitement for the 12th edition of the well-known Super Splash Arctic Spas.
A UNIQUE CHALLENGE
Participants will certainly share their load of emotions while gathering up at the starting line on run #2 – Les Pionniers, for the Super Splash kick-off at 12:30pm. They will then take on the slope in hopes of gaining enough speed to go all the way across the artificial water pond without sinking, as the starting line will slowly make its way down for the following rounds. Some will be earning the bragging rights while all others will be proud of their attempts. At steaming hot tub will be awaiting participants after their trial.
