3. Tyrol Basin, Wisconsin
Tyrol Basin has been backing snowboarders since the very beginning. One of the first resorts in the world to have a snowboard park and halfpipe, the good humans in Wisconsin realized early-on that not only is snowboarding a legitimate activity to invest in, but it’s also direct path to success as a resort. That commitment continues on today, with the modern resort holding three varied parks and a pipe, all lit for nightriding. They’re also known for a pretty stout events schedule, further helping to keep that storied snowboard legacy alive and well.
