The biggest night in snowboarding is coming to Denver! The 11th Annual TransWorld SNOWboarding Riders’ Poll Awards will be held at The Fillmore Auditorium in Downtown Denver, Friday, January 29, 2010 during the SIA trade show. The Riders’ Poll Awards honors snowboarding’s top riders—the nominees and winners are determined by polling more than 125 professional snowboarders worldwide. In addition, thousands of TransWorld SNOWboarding readers cast their votes for the winner of the Men’s and Women’s Reader’s Poll Award. This year, TransWorld will also return to honoring the legends of snowboarding with the Legend Award—past winners include Craig Kelly, Terry Kidwell, and Damien Sanders. This year, the Legend Award goes to backcountry pioneer, pro rider, Alaska guide, Tahoe local, and all around good guy—Tom Burt.
For the first time in history, this event will be open to the public. Come celebrate with us as the world’s best snowboarders cheer on the nominees for the biggest honor in snowboarding. For tickets go to www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/415853. See you in Denver!
