The Art Institute of Colorado will host a silent auction for one of a kind snowboard art, designed by Art Institute students. Boards are on display in the Gallery and all proceeds benefit the Education Foundation and support student scholarships.

    Kreeper box looks pretty sick!

  • Denver Says:

Shame on the event organizers. Women were grossly underrepresented in the competition, not to mention the fact that the first prize for men was $2000, while the first prize for women was only $1000. Women are only half as good right?

  • yo-yo Says:

exactly, you should be glad you even got that much! now get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich

  • livelife Says:

I think if woman are doing the same tricks as men, then pay them the same! But if they are not, then the prize money shouldn't be the same!

  • Tor Says:

If women can do the same tricks as men then there shouldn't be a women's category. you wanna get paid, go out and show up some bros. set up is sick.

  • dankasouraus Says:

serious the reason girls get paid less lets see in pipe the best girls throwin down 900 while the guys are gettin down now double corks shietttt u wanna get paid get some tricks down

  • livetoboard Says:

heres my take there is a crapload of girls that are better than a crapload of guys and girls arent usuallly able to excel at the rate guys are due to many things go read the march issue 2009 of twsnow man they have an interview with one of the girl riders and its hard to go pro as a girl so i respect them for it BUT FIRST THEY SHOULD MAKE ME A FREEKING SANDWHICH ALREADy

  • nerd Says:

galvanic sucks and so does AI. What the f do you know about snowboarding?

  • slimslugg Says:

Girls are just not as good as guys at snowboarding. Giving them the same amount of money just to be "equal" is like letting someone beat you because your better than them. Thats dumb.
Ive seen some girls really stepping up to the plate and getting wild, style getting better too. But they still have some evolving to do. While their evolving though, they should be making me sandwiches.

  • damnson Says:

    i love girl snowboarders

  • ShredNeck Says:

girl snow boarders aren't as good as guys thats y they have different catigories. the 15th best guy snowboarder is probably better than the 1st best girl snowboarder i'm not saying girls suck but they just don't do the same big tricks and don't have as nice of style as guys do (at a pro level ) ,,,, they are also less entertaining so they get paid less

  • HUH? Says:

wait what? This SAME EXACT setup came to my home town of madison, wi, but it wasnt put on by any of these companies.

  • Wingmaster Says:

I have an itch on my left butt cheeck…
