MOUNTAIN HIGH OFFERS FREE LIFT TICKET TO MILITARY PERSONNEL ON VETERANS DAY
(Wrightwood, CA – November 10, 2009) – In celebration of Veteran’s Day Mountain High will offer a FREE Adult 8-Hour lift ticket to all Military personnel, active and retired, with proper ID. This offer is valid only on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
Director of Marketing John McColly made the announcement today saying “The mountain is honored to offer this FREE lift ticket as a token of thanks to our nation’s service men and women.”
For non-Military personnel, special early season rates are in effect at just $40 for an 8-Hour ticket, $35 for a 4-Hour ticket, $30 for Night tickets from 5pm to 10pm, and $25 for children ages 7 to 12. Children six and under ski free when accompanied by a paying adult. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Snowmaking temperatures return this week and Mountain High intends to stay open for the remainder of the 2009/10 season. Up to three lifts will be available accessing three trails which consist of beginner to intermediate terrain. Ten plus terrain features will also be on the mountain including several favorites such as the Flat Up Flat Box, the C-Box, and several urban-style rails. Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort located just an hour and a half from Los Angeles and Orange County.
