Gnu Park Pickle, $490
Gnu Park Pickle, $490Here’s what the testers had to say:
“The Park pickle will pickle your park in a good way. Sweet combo of stability for jumps and flex for rails. Buy this board and get dirty all year.”
“When going slow the edges take a little getting used to.”"It felt super similar to the Burton Hero, but with better edge hold. Sick pops and really good presses.”
“I definitely hope the rest of the boards this week can live up to my first ride on the Pickle. Perfect mixture of jump and jib, an A+ park deck.”
“This board is ridiculous. The heel edge helps you carve like you were back in the 90’s and it’s soft enough to butter, stiff enough to hit good size jumps.”
“Nothing bad to say. Awesome for pressing, super good for jumping.”
“Super fun, smooth flex. The name says it all!”

just got me one!
flex is insane but pop was still there!
just got mine today. cant wait to try it out
how does it compare to the skate banana.
for next year i was hoping to either get the libtech skate banana or the gnu park pickle i kinda want the pickle more dont know why but i heard theyre the same except for the asymmetrics on the pickle whitch one should i get?
hey man i am a snowboard instructor, i would personally go for the pickle. The deeper heel cut makes a difference also the pickle has a little stiffer of a flex which makes it a better all mountain board. I put a little over 100 days on my pickle this year and will buy another for next year. I rode the park, high speed on groomers, trees, and even took it in the backcountry. Great board!!
the pickle is softer then the banana both super fun!
Instructors don't know anything.
i agree!
Pickle and Banana have the same core (according to Lib tech and Gnu), pickle has a deeper side cut however, making it easier to turn heelside and in my opinion, ride switch. Loved both of the boards! Usually ride in the range of 156 but with the reverse camber, was able to get away with riding a 150 and having way more fun in the park but am still able to stay above the powder in the trees. turns icy groomers into a fun ride too!
