The DC crew blasted out of San Morteez, Switzerland in pursuit of better snow and they found it. A few hours drive east, they rolled directly toward the Arlberg region of Austria, where snow had been pounding down for days. Upon their arrival, the clouds broke open and the skies went blue. Dudes charged. Here’s some scrappy-ass images from the days in Lech. Filmers and photographer Colin Adair worked the angles while I lurked around the blind spots and poached a few pics with my handy G9. The resorts of the Arlberg are all sorta connected and the ticket is universal for all the different lifts and pistes: makes it prety mellow to cruise around and explore. That’s what the crew did. Check it.
Our March issue is all about being in real time, packed with photos and stories of snowboarding that's happening right now. On the cover is Bode Merrill, miller flipping in a Salt Lake parking garage from this November.
